Curiosity Cures Boredom

We know that emotions are mans strongest motivator.

Your lack of enthusiasm and emotion is your souls way of directing you to another path.

If you listen to that inner voice or "your other self" as some refer to it you will know the truth and the road you must take.

Architects see the building in their minds before the first stroke of a pencil.

It doesn’t matter what you do your imagination and the way you use it can determine the course of your life.

Stay Curious!

Do not let the outer world force you to stop using your imagination.

Individuals with creative imaginations produce.

When I was younger. I tried football, I was terrible.  I played baseball, I wasn't too bad.  Next I discovered Amateur Wrestling. Now this got me juiced and I was constantly practicing, time flew by, It was not work to me.

I would go to bed at night visualizing my hand being raised as the victor.  I had found a competition that was just myself and my opponent.

We travelled extensively and I never knew who my opponent was going to be.

Oh, but if I talked to someone who knew my opponent I would immediately get psyched out. 

Once again the power of my subconscious and emotions would take over. I would occasionally lose to these opponents.

Once someone ask me after a match "Didn't you know this guy was undefeated."  I said No I did not.

I beat him because I first thought I could in my mind.

I did not let the outer world contaminate my thinking I had already saw wmy had raised as the victor before the match even began.

Why? Because I remained curious. 

I knew these guys had scouted me and I always had to do something different. 

So the curiosity question I ask myself was what can I do different that my opponent won't expect.

As far as I know that 30 second pin is still a record in that weight class. Thirty years ago. Seems like Yesterday.

Simply put, the self image you perceive determines the role you play in life.

Visualize with curiosity and emotion yourself as a success and you will always play the role of a success and guess what?

You become a success.

I remember being in Iraq and working with this girl from Turkey.  We'd get up at  4:30 in the morning.

She'd always have coffee on, we were in some ungodly place called All Assad (find hell on the map and it is right next to it).

We would have our coffee and she would put her headphones on and just rock out to her favorite music for about 45 minutes.

That got her motivated for the day.  The rest of the day she was a machine!

This proved to me that music definitely can get you emotional, fired up, and get your creative juices flowing.

My ritual was a bit different. I liked the darkness, the silence and looking at the peaceful sky in the morning.
